Sometimes, we see incredible acts of kindness and generosity that restore our faith in humanity. Although there are a lot of bad things happening out there, there are still a lot of good people who genuinely care about others, and the man in this video is one of them. In this video, a woman is selling roses on the subway. He probably picked up on the fact that she was selling these roses because she really needed the money. What he did at this point was amazing.
He asked her how much 15 roses would cost. Then, he asked her how much all of the roses would cost, and he ended up buying all of them. What he did was ask her to promise him that she would just give the rest of the roses away, rather than sell them.
He got off at the next stop, so she barely had time to thank him, but it is clear that what he did had a real effect on her, as she was in tears when he left. She then offered everyone in that compartment free roses, and told them that if they wanted a rose, they could have one.
This is a great example of the “pay it forward” philosophy. It is actually very likely that she would not have sold many roses if it had not been for this guy. Not many people would want to buy those. However, because of him, many of them did get free ones.
