Many people assign human qualities to animals, and for good reason. They are capable of emotions, as well as intelligent actions at times. However, they are not actually human, so there are some things that humans do that animals cannot. Art, however, can transcend these limitations that animals have, and it can portray them doing things that they would not be able to do in the real world.

Nicholas Deveaux is an artist who has become very well known for his animations of different animals doing things that are thought to be characteristic only of humans.

In this video, he has a team of giraffes doing some really impressive maneuvers off of the high diving board. A lot of people have a hard time with high diving, so imagine giraffes doing this, especially with their long necks and their specific anatomy! They are doing flips that are really impressive, especially when you consider how they are built.

The animation skills that are evident in this video are extremely impressive. Every little detail is basically flawless, even at the tiniest points of detail, such as the ears of the giraffes. This is particularly impressive because Deveaux obviously was not working with any model he had seen in real life, as giraffes do not generally dive into swimming pools in real life. The animation and all of the positions of the giraffes in the process came completely from his amazing and powerful imagination, which makes this art impressive on many different levels.
