Jake Tapper Calls Trump A Liar, Right To Kellyanne Conway’s Face

Everyone is all abuzz about the recent disagreement over some national statistics, particularly those of the murderous variety. The TV entanglement that some are calling “television gold,” features two very worthy media opponents, Jake Tapper and Kellyanne Conway.

Before we get into the amazing TV sparring, let’s briefly see who we’re dealing with, as far as smarty pants credentials go:

CNN’s Chief Washington Correspondent is certainly no fool, especially with an Ivy League degree from Dartmouth College. Jake Tapper is also respected in the news media industry and received an Emmy award for “Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story.”

Kellyanne Conway is also a strong, smart media person in her own right. She studied at Oxford University and was educated at George Washington University with a degree in law. She currently serves as Counselor to President Donald Trump.

The contentious discussion only lasted about a minute and a half, but it was fun to see, especially if you enjoy national politics, democrat versus republican and so forth.

Our scene opens with Jake Tapper stating that President Donald Trump announces things that are “not true” to the country.

Kellyanne Conway shot back, saying that the media does not cover the things that are true that President Trump is saying to change people’s lives.

Then, the two got into a heated battle concerning a recent news conference the President had held about the murder rate for the last 47 years. Kellyanne Conway told Jake Tapper, that from the years 2014 to 2015, there was an increase in the number of rapes, murders and assaults.

Jake Tapper blasted her by saying that if Trump had revealed those facts, they would have been correct. Instead, he says the President announced that the murder rate is at the highest it’s been in 47 years and that the media does not report these key facts.

Jake Tapper continued, saying the media doesn’t report this, because it’s a lie and it’s not true. He added, that he couldn’t even wrap his head around it.

He then gave Kellyanne Conway the last word. She refused, saying only that she was fine and thanked CNN for having her on as a guest.
