Lucie normally had a cup of coffee with her breakfast every morning. She found out that her coffee had 15 grams of sugar in it. She did not eliminate coffee, but she made it with unsweetened almond milk and honey. Lucie also found out that the cocktails she had been ordering had a lot of sugar in them. Instead of ordering cocktails, she drank tequila with lemon juice.
Lucie admitted that she did not think about her sugar intake much before she started doing the no-sugar challenge. However, she stated that she was amazed at how subtle changes can really make a difference. Lucie noticed a number of positive benefits after giving up sugar. She was able to sleep better at night. She also had more energy. Furthermore, Lucie found out that processed sugar was not a necessary part of her diet.
