Karen Brown, an average 36 year old women, had her faith quickly restored in God recently after an automobile accident that could have resulted in fatality. According to Brown, the last thing she remembers was making a left turn while she was driving in Nelspruit, South Africa.
Brown was in her Ford Fiesta and was soon about to be hit by nearby truck driver who ran a red light. The truck ran into Brown’s vehicle and rolled on top of it, which left the Ford Fiesta completely totaled. At first, it would seem highly unlikely that Brown would have survived the crash. Emergency responders worked for more than an hour to get Brown’s body out of the vehicle.
When the responders reached Brown, they found she was still alive. Brown was not only alive, but she only suffered from minor injuries from the crash. According to Brown, she was never scared while being trapped inside the automobile because she knew that “Jesus held her all the time.”
Brown was a Christian for many years and did not know how close she was to being killed. A few days after the accident Brown was able to see photographs that were taken of her totaled vehicle. Brown’s reaction was “My God was good to me.” In fact, photographs from the wreckage would suggest it would be difficult for anyone to survive, but Brown came out of the accident without serious injuries.
