Hospice Worker Enteres A Patient’s Room – And They Catch Him Redhanded Doing THIS!

Often times care workers go above and beyond their call of duty while on the job and it goes unnoticed. However, one hospice worker in Austinburg, Ohio had his good deed caught on camera.

Joshua Woodard, who works at the Austinburg Nursing & Rehab Center, stopped into a patient named Mary’s room to check on her. Once he walked in, Joshua began to sing the famous Christian hymn, “How Great Thou Art”. Not only did the hospice aide sing it to the bed ridden patient, he belted the hymn out with passion and grace.

Mary’s daughter-in-law had filmed Joshua serenading the hospice patient at her bedside. She shared the video on her Facebook page, which has since gone viral. The video has been shared over 5,000 times. Many who commented on the video found inspiration in Joshua’s sweet gesture. Others commented that the video left them with “goosebumps”.

Mary has since passed away and her family revealed that Joshua had actually known her since he was a child. Mary had taught piano and voice, Joshua had been one of her students as a child. What a beautiful moment for Mary to have one of her former students serenade her, her family says that it is a moment that they will never forget.
