Seeing an animal that has suffered abuse is very heart-wrenching for most people. Fortunately, many animals that are being abused end up having a happy life. Kelsey is an example of one of those animals. She was a homeless dog that roamed the streets looking for food. She would sleep in alleyways and underneath bridges. She was constantly in harm’s way. However, that all changed one day after someone found her.
Kelsey was in really bad shape when she was first rescued. She had sores all over her body, and she was malnourished. Kelsey was taken to a clinic where she received around-the-clock attention and care. Slowly, but surely, Kelsey began to heal. Her sores went away, and she started to gain weight.
Kelsey also started making friends with other dogs. She endured a lot of abuse in her life, but her rescuers showed her what it was like to live the good life. She was able to run around and play like other dogs.
There are pictures that show Kelsey’s incredible transformation. It is hard to believe that it is the same dog. Before Kelsey was skinny with a lot of sores on her body. Now, she is at a healthy weight and has a beautiful coat.
