Woman Walks Miles To Get To Her 2 Jobs – One Day, A Cop Approaches Her At Work…

Florida resident Joella Oelrich, 26, worked hard at two jobs to stay ahead of her bills. Each day, she would walk for miles to her day position at Forest Park Animal Center and then walk another several miles to the local McDonald’s for her night job. The quickest way to do this was by traveling along busy roads that contained high-speed traffic and became dangerous after dark.

Oelrich’s plight became apparent to a number of coworkers and police officers in the area, so they got together and devised a plan to help out the young woman. When the group, which included Officer Kaitlyn Anglin, came to Oelrich’s day job to present her with their gift, she thought she had done something wrong and hid from everyone.

After being reassured everything was fine, Oelrich followed the group outside where a beautiful new bicycle was waiting. It was a top model, equipped with everything to keep Oelrich safe on her daily commutes.

She was so overcome with joy, she could not speak and started crying. After getting hugs from her benefactors, she began to ride her bike, which took a bit of practice. She now commutes in speed and safety each day.
