Some people enjoy exploring abandoned homes and buildings. They like taking pictures and seeing if there are any treasures that have been left behind. Leslie is an explorer who lives in Ontario. She recently found a home that seemed to be abandoned from the outside. However, when she went inside the home, she received a surprise that she could never imagine.
Leslie was exploring on her birthday when she stopped at a final location. Thinking that she could capture a few beautiful pictures, she went inside the home that had grass growing on the sidewalk and shutters hanging from the windows.
When she entered the home, she saw an elderly man in the living room. He was alone in the house, but it was his home. The home was unkept, and it seemed like he never got outdoors. Leslie befriended the man. She talked to him about his life and how his home ended up in the condition that it was seen in when Leslie arrived.
She started visiting him on a regular basis, helping get his home clean and repaired. However, the home was in too much disarray, and the elderly man went to live at a retirement facility. Leslie still visits her new friend, enjoying dinners and going to social events with him.
