Danielle Davis married the love of her life back in 2010. They had a picture-perfect life for seven months, but tragedy struck in July 2011. Danielle received a phone call saying that Matt had been involved in a serious car accident in Savannah, Georgia. Doctors did not think that Matt would survive. They put him in a medically-induced coma, which he stayed in for three years.
Danielle was told by many people that she should just let her husband go. However, she refused. Three years after the accident, something miraculous happened. Matt said two words to his wife, which were “I’m trying.”
Those two words changed Danielle’s life. She stated that the reason she did not want to pull the plug on her husband was because she put her trust in God. She also stated that there is nothing too big or too small for God.
Matt was eventually released from the hospital. He and Danielle moved in with Danielle’s mother, which was where he continued his recovery. Danielle worked around the clock to help her husband get better. Matt still has a long way to go, but doctors are impressed with the progress that he has made. The couple is happy that they have another shot at life together.
