When you visit a gravesite, you expect to visit the person who you believe is buried there. A son has been visiting his mother’s site with his father, only to discover that it might be someone else he has been seeing.
Sometimes, the man will go to the woman’s site twice a day. He makes sure her headstone is kept clean and will water the plot around the stone so that it looks the best that it possible can look. The son has written about the care that his father gives to the plot on his Facebook page.
The father takes clippings of roses to place in front of the stone as well as other flowers from the garden. Her plot is the most vibrant since his father waters the grass all the time. The father noticed a woman crying at a gravesite nearby one day. Her husband has been in the Air Force and was killed in 2010.
They started talking about the events in life that led them to being in a cemetery. The father has added the soldier’s site to his list of things to do when he visits the cemetery. He gives the same attention to his plot that he does for his wife.
