Tiny poodle mix Bobb was picked up off of the streets in Los Angeles after living under neglectful conditions for 10 years. When animal control brought him in, his fur was so matted the people couldn’t see his eyes. They decided to cut off all his fur.
Once he was shaved, the people at the shelter found out that the matting cut off the circulation to his front right and back left legs. Bobb had cut them off himself in order to survive. Many of his teeth were also rotting. They took out all but four in order to save him from infection.
He started healing up well. After a while, a couple offered to foster him while he healed. Unfortunately, they were getting ready to move and had to return him to the animal shelter. They still loved him, even after they gave him away, however. So after they moved into their new Los Angeles home, the couple formally adopted Bobb and had him flown out to Los Angeles to live with them and their two huskies.
Unfortunately, Bobb can’t be given prosthetic limbs because of how his own limbs were amputated. It’s clear by the pictures, though, that his life has greatly improved and he’s very well taken care of despite his past conditions.
