A woman from the United Kingdom recently took a vacation in Crete, Greece. Georgia, 25, was walking alone on the beach when she was approached by two men. The men asked her if she wanted to go get a drink with them, to which she politely declined. But the big lugs weren’t going to take “No.” for an answer, and grabbed her violently by the arm.
As the attackers were struggling with Georgia stray dog sprinted out of the darkness and started barking loudly at the two men who were scared off. Georgia knew that the dog had likely saved her from a very ugly fate. She wanted to keep the dog, but she was getting ready to fly back to the United Kingdom.
Two weeks later, and Georgia still couldn’t get the dog out of her mind so she decided to fly back to Crete and adopt herself a dog. It took thousands of dollars and a total of five weeks, but Georgia was finally able to adopt the dog, who she named Pepper. But Georgia was in for yet another surprise…
Pepper was pregnant and delivered puppies a week after she came to the United Kingdom. Pepper saved Georgia’s life, and Georgia returned the favor. Pepper and her puppies now have access to medical care, food, clean water and a whole lot of love.
