Alice Velasquez had repeatedly told her daughters to clean up their rooms, but they were not listening. Alice would end up cleaning up their rooms herself. She got tired of repeating herself, so she decided that she was going to teach them a lesson. Alice went into her daughters’ rooms and put all of her their belongings in trash bags.
In order for her daughters to get their belongings back, they will have to pay $25 for each bag. They will also not know what is the bag until they pay for it. The daughters will not be able to use any outside money.
They will earn the money by doing the chores that they should have done a long time ago. The story quickly went viral. While some people gave the mother kudos, other people were saying that she was abusing her daughters.
Alice has appeared on “The Doctors”. She quickly shot down allegations of abuse. She stated that she just wanted to develop a creative way to discipline her daughters. She wants to teach her daughters to be responsible. Alice had tried various ways to get to her daughters to listen, but she was not getting to them. Hopefully, they will do what they are told now.
