VIDEO: Walmart Worker Is Stunned When Ex-Husband Of 43 Years Shows Up With THIS! NO WAY!

In 1959, Louis Demetriades and Renate Stumpf met in Germany and got married. They separated after 12 years, having decided that it was best that they be apart at that time. However, 43 years later, Demetriades decided that he wanted his former wife back.

On December 2 of last year, he started planning one of the biggest romantic gestures many people have ever seen. He started speaking to some of her friends at Walmart, where she worked, to set his plans into motion to reunite with the woman that he still loved after all these years.

On Valentine’s Day, he drove to Memphis Tennessee from Fort Smith, Arkansas to propose to his ex-wife after they had not spoken in over 40 years. He showed up during one of her shifts at Walmart to surprise her. He greeted her with the words “Hey, good lookin’.” She was very obviously shocked to see him, although she was clearly happy and reacted to his presence with a hug.

He then asked her to marry him, and although she did not say yes right away, it is clear that is what her ultimate answer will be. She said on camera that they have been apart for a long time and she will have to test him a little bit first, but she is going to say yes, because he is a good man. She summed up how she felt about his big romantic gesture by saying,”Best Valentine I ever had in my life.”
