VIDEO: This Man Puts Butter And Sugar In The Microwave—The Result? The BEST Dessert Ever!!!

Lovers of caramel don’t need to slave over a hot stove in order to enjoy their favorite confectionary treat, thanks to a video produced by Todd’s Kitchen that uses only six ingredients and a microwave oven.

All that is needed to satisfy a sweet tooth is one glass bowl filled with 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup each of both white and brown sugars, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Whisk that mixture until well blended, then place in the microwave for a total of six minutes, stirring with the whisk every two minutes. Line a glass baking dish with waxed paper, then pour the hot caramel mixture into this bowl and leave it set for several hours. Be certain to wash out your glass bowl immediately or leave it soak in hot water. When the mixture has cooled down in the baking dish, place it into the refrigerator for another several hours.

Now remove the block of caramel from the glass dish, keeping the waxed paper attached. Then use a very sharp knife to cut the caramel into delicious bite-sized pieces. Arrange these pieces on a fresh piece of waxed paper on a serving dish and enjoy! There has never been a more simple or easy way to cook up a batch of fresh, creamy, chewy caramels.
