VIDEO: The Crowd Is Already In Tears – Then They kick Their Performance Into 12th Gear!

A performance of the classic song, “Hallelujah” by the Irish singing group Celtic Thunder was enough to have some members of the audience reduced to blubbering tears. Nearly two-thirds of the way through the song, three of the five members of the group achieve perfect vocal harmony, making the crowd go absolutely nuts (around ).

Celtic Thunder formed in 2007 and currently consists of five members, combining musical talents with a flair for theater this group is very good live. This particular show included orchestral instruments including an oboe, a violin, a keyboard and a harp.

The video of “Hallelujah” was posted online in late June of 2014, since then it’s gotten more than 894,000! And between the suave European suites, their classic boy-band sex appeal and vocal capacity, it is easy to see why.

The song has been covered by more than 300 singers since it was written by Leonard Cohen in 1984. “Halleluja” has been sung by Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, Jeff Buckley, and countless others. We’ve all heard it a million times in our lives, in movies and on the radio, but give this video a look! It’s hard to deny vocal prowess when you hear it.
