Traveling during the holidays can be stressful, but for one group of lucky flyers, their flight will be one to remember. A lucky group of WestJet passengers received a very special holiday surprise this year: Their very own North Pole experience!
As the passengers bound for Ontario, Canada arrived at their gate, they were greeted by Santa Claus, who was waiting to talk to them live on a big screen. Santa asked the travelers, both young and old, what they wanted for Christmas this year. One little boy said that he wanted a new toy train while another woman told the big man in red that she just wanted to be home with her family for Christmas.
A dad was even asked and he told Santa that he just wanted new socks and underwear! It was a wonderful Christmas treat for everyone involved. As the passengers happily boarded their flight, they had no idea that their WestJet holiday fun was not quite over yet.
The travelers safely landed in Ontario to find the baggage claim area completely decorated to look like Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. An even bigger surprise? Once the baggage carousel started moving, snow started to fall! WestJet had turned the airport into a Winter Wonderland. This will surely be one holiday flight that these lucky passengers will never forget.
