VIDEO: He’s Reunited With Something He Lost Decades Ago. His Reaction? I Can’t Stop Crying

It took nearly 70 years, but one man has been reunited with something he thought was gone forever. The results are beautiful, yet bittersweet.

A Colorado woman was doing some thrift shopping when she came across a love letter, written during World War Two. It was tucked inside of a record case. Instead of letting the letter find its way into the garbage or back onto the thrift store shelves, the woman returned it to its owner, Bill Moore.

In a touching video, Moore weeps as he reads the letter, which stirs up memories of his late wife. The two enjoyed a long marriage and a romance that stayed strong throughout the years, even as the decorated veteran was fighting overseas.

“I loved her,” Moore says, tears streaming down his cheeks. “And she loved me. That’s all I can tell you; the heartbreak of not being with her all the time.”

The Moores’ story is a testament to the power of love. “It really hit me that we were seeing the true depth of my parents’ love,” the Moore’s daughter commented. Even though his wife isn’t here to see this miraculous turn of events, her husband’s love for her has inspired countless people and made the world a better place.
