This Iraqi Veteran Wasn’t Supposed To Be This Good. When He Steps Onto Stage…AMAZING!

One of the most exciting contestants on the most recent edition of “Dancing with the Stars” is Noah Galloway, a young man who lost two limbs while serving in the Iraq War. Despite his injuries, he has proven to be quite the dancer, and his samba with his dancing partner Shana Burgess knocked the socks off of the judges, especially Julianne Hough.

She pointed out that his skill and strength seem to stem from his intensive knowledge of his own body. She praised the duo for their musical power and accuracy. While they did not receive a perfect score, they did garner a very high 27 and were able to advance into the next week of the competition.

This week had a component that made it extra sweet for the soldier-turned-contestant. His girlfriend, Army Reserve Specialist Jamie Boyd, lavishly praised his performance after surprising him with her visit. He hadn’t expected to see her for another month, so the sight of his girlfriend was most welcome.

Both his presence in the competition and his advancement are a credit to all that he has accomplished since being wounded. Both in the field of battle and back at home, Noah Galloway is an example of courage and determination.
