Nice Architects, a Slovakian design firm, has created a self-sufficient, eco-friendly house that just happens to look like an egg. The EcoCapsule can fit two people, with every inch designed for the most efficient use of space while fitting in all the necessities.

The egg shape lowers wind resistance while making the most of the space available. EcoCapsule creates its own power, with solar panels and an attached wind turbine to provide enough power to charge all your electronics, including an electric car.

With multiple power sources and an energy-efficient design, EcoCapsule can charge in almost any weather, making sure that you never get left high and dry. Rainwater collection provides fresh water for the toilet, shower, and kitchen. Two large openable windows allow people to enjoy the fresh air or close up for privacy and inclement weather.

The EcoCapsule comes with a kitchenette with sink for indoor cooking as well as a small counter and dining area. Multiple internal and external storage areas offer plenty of places to stash equipment and necessities despite the premium on space. Perfect for campers, EcoCapsule with its compact, self-sufficient design allows you to go anywhere, and still bring all the comforts of home in one small, ecofriendly package.

EcoCapsule is still in production with a tow-friendly camper version set to be released sometime in 2016.
