They Laughed At Her In The Store Because They Thought She Was Fat. Her Response? AMAZING!

A movement that has placed its goals in aiming towards encouraging people to love themselves for who they are, especially in regards to their appearance has stricken many of today’s talks.

“The Body Acceptance movement is proud to represent a stance to implement a mind state within everyone that emphasizes loving oneself for who they are, despite what they may look like on the outside, mostly in regards to one’s weight. Ultimately, everyone is built with a different body, and no one should strive to be someone they are not if it drains them of their true personality. The uniqueness of an individual is what makes them special and interesting, and “The Body Acceptance Movement” has been implemented into our society to remind us of that.

As a member of the group has recently been publicly shamed in a grocery store for her weight, she has decided to make the issue into a public movement to help others that may have experienced the same circumstance as she has. She has stated that she has stopped picking herself apart when looking into the mirror, and encourages others to do the same.

Her point being, beauty should not be looked at by what is seen on our television sets today. The typical skinny model or buff man in underwear isn’t your typical human with a regular job.

Their jobs are to chisel themselves up to be seen on television sets, but that does not mean that they are who we should necessarily strive to be. Many of our conceptions of “perfect” need to transform into what we ultimately want to be or become. That is what is actually perfect.
