These Guys Line Up Dressed In Scrubs. What Comes Out Of Their Mouths? SERIOUS SKILLS!

Just ask anyone in the medical field and they’ll let you know how grueling some days can be. Those who work in the emergency medicine and surgical industries have it especially hard, since the majority of their patients are all either very ill or facing a serious operation that leaves everyone’s nerves tense and emotions running high. One anesthesiologist named Gary Cozine has managed to shed some light on the personalities behind the surgical masks and send some positive vibes through his hilarious songs and dance routines based off his own work experiences.

Cozine is known for his musical talents and has entertained millions on the web as well as travelled across the world to perform his routines. None of that would be possible without years spent inside the OR assisting doctors in countless of surgical procedures. Working in such a tense environment can take its toll on a person, but Cozine and his coworkers show us that even those with the most stressful jobs can blow off some steam and have a good time.

His video “Breathe” features him and five men in scrubs lined up and sang about the difficulties of being an anesthesiologist in a Barbershop quartet-style song. “Breathe, all you have to do is breathe,” the men sing. “Can you hear my voice? I’m scared to death. Now everyone’s watching and all you have to do is breathe.”

The comical approach to the fears and anxieties that run through an anesthetist’s mind in the OR may make some patients feel more uneasy, but it also helps make them feel ten times more human. There’s nothing like song and camaraderie to help soothe some jitters, and medical students everywhere will probably be both laughing and crying along to the all-too-relatable words of Cozine’s tunes.
