Since These Puppies Were Rescued They Haven’t Stopped Hugging Eachother

In certain parts of the world, it’s not uncommon to find stray dogs roaming the streets, looking for food and shelter. In Ho Chi Minh City, two of these dogs have found comfort from Buddhist nuns as well as from each other.

The nuns found the puppies wandering the streets of the Vietnamese city and decided to take them back to their temple after it was clear that no one was looking out for them. They gave them a warm place to sleep, food, water, and most importantly, love.

As often happens with animals who have been neglected, it’s taken awhile for the dogs to warm up to others and feel comfortable in their new environment.

What they’ve been doing, though, is melting hearts everywhere. They’ve been hugging each every chance they get.

Pictures that have gone viral on the internet show how the two pups are holding onto each other inside and outside at all times of the day. One of the young dogs is a bit bigger than the other and seems to take on the protective role. Most likely a mix if breeds, the larger one is tan and the smaller one has shades of black, brown and white. They’re still both in the stage where they have big puppy dog eyes.

We don’t know what those eyes have seen, but we do know that they’re so much happier after being given a chance to live out their days in a safe, happy place. They’ll soon be ready to go out on adventures, knowing that at the end of them, they’ll be able to curl up together.
