She Spots Something Odd In The Neighbor’s Pool. Then It Moves And She Calls 911!

A woman in Mesa, Arizona, got a big surprise recently. She looked out of the window of her home and was astonished to see that a horse she owned, a stallion named Stormy, had fallen into the swimming pool in her backyard. The horse was unable to get out of the pool, and the woman called 911.

First responders including paramedics and firemen then took control. They first tranquilized the animal with the help of a veterinarian so that he would be calm and then dragged him out of the pool using straps.

Since Stormy was basically dead weight after he had been sedated, it took a lot of muscle power to lift him to safety. When the horse eventually woke up, he showed no ill effects from his ordeal. As he began to walk around, everyone involved was very relieved.

The incident serves a reminder of how hazardous swimming pools can be. Owners tend to be aware of the possibility of unsupervised children falling into the water, but pools can also be dangerous for animals as well. Stormy’s owner was very happy to have him back safely, and she will likely put up a fence around her pool to prevent similar events from happening in the future.
