A very clever fashionista has posted an online video using the moniker The Sorry Girls to instruct other women on how to transform sunglasses purchased at their local Dollar Store into sunglasses that look hip, gorgeous and much more expensive than they really are. All that is needed are some supplies from the local craft store to transform boring sunglasses into eyewear that looks like it was created by a well-known fashion designer and purchased at an expensive retail boutique.
Among the many ways that The Sorry Girls changes the look of sunglasses from the Dollar Store are the application of white pearls surrounding the frame using craft glue to help the sunglasses immediately go from drab to fabulous. By using duct tape and a variety of brush on and spray on paints, a pair of black sunglasses can be transformed into a very chic designer pair featuring gold and white trim.
A third sunglasses project performed by The Sorry Girls shows how to decorate a very plain pair of cheap sunglasses using very tiny resin flowers purchased at the craft store.
These decorations can be applied using craft glue and allowed to dry, adding a colorful and creative accent to an otherwise boring pair of sunglasses. The number of ways to transform boring Dollar Store sunglasses into designer-style pairs is limited only by your imagination.
