She Fell Off A Cliff And Was Ready To Die. Then She Noticed THIS and It Gave Her The Will To Live

Maggie Michael is a 21-year-old biology student when she experienced what could probably be described as the most horrific, yet fulfilling, day of her life. Maggie was part of a team that was studying rare plants in Colorado when the rock ledge she was standing on gave way, causing her to tumble down the unforgiving mountainside terrain.

In a fight for her life, Maggie clawed desperately to find something on which she could take hold. She initially fell 30 feet before hitting another ledge and tumbling another 70 feet.

Maggie realized there was nothing that she could do to save herself. Or was there?

Maggie grabbed the St. Dominic medallion and crucifix that she was wearing and began to pray.

“I asked for Jesus to be with me,” she said. “And at that moment, I saw something.”

Two bald Eagles flew overhead and Maggie found peace.

It took Maggie’s colleagues more than an hour to locate where she landed on the mountainside and it was several more hours before she was able to receive medical treatment. Maggie suffered from multiple injuries to her leg, in addition to many cuts, scrapes, and bruises.

“If I hadn’t landed where I did,” Maggie said, “I would have fallen another 200 feet.”
