Rick Scott Screws The Working Poor AGAIN By Creating Corrupt Commission Led By THIS Psycho

Florida is facing a healthcare crisis because the Republicans refused to expand Medicaid. As a result of this, 800,000 Floridians who are living below the poverty line have not been able to get healthcare coverage. Governor Rick Scott stated the reason Medicaid was not expanded was because it was going to cost over $579 million.

Scott also blamed Obamacare for the rising cost of Medicaid. Scott believes that the best way to solve the healthcare crisis is by creating a healthcare system where people are forced to buy health insurance. He says that this idea would help people save five percent. Even though we’ve already tried that – for like, as long as America has had this thing called “health insurance” – and private insurers just kept jacking the prices up, up and away.

Scott says that the insurance companies and hospitals are responsible for this. He says that hospitals and insurance companies are overcharging people. He has also ordered that 129 hospitals in Florida be audited. When Scott and the House republicans voted against expanding the state Medicaid program, the federal government forfeited the $1.3 billion Low Income Pool.

This is a program that will reimburse hospitals for treating uninsured patients. As a result of this, it will be a lot harder for needy people to get the treatment they need. The res of the 1st world is accepting socialized medicine – it is about time America does so too.
