Sergei Markov is a political analyst in Russia. He stated for months that Putin did not hack the Democratic email servers and interfere with the election. Even though there was a lot of evidence to suggesting that Putin was involved with this, Sergei repeatedly denied it.
Now that Donald Trump has been elected president, Sergei has admitted what has been done. Sergei did not directly say that Putin had anything to do with the WikiLeaks. However, he admitted that Putin may have had played a part in the Wikileaks.
Sergei has also stated that Putin is looking to benefit from Trump’s presidency. He stated that he looks forward to the United States and Russia cooperating with Syria. Many other leaders in Russia were happy with the results of the election. Trump has embraced many dictators in Russia. In fact, rumor has it that Trump regularly communicates with the Russian elite.
The FBI is reportedly investing Paul Manafort’s ties to elite in Russia. Paul is Donald’s former campaign manager. The FBI investigation will probably reveal more information about Putin’s involved in the Wikileaks. Many people also believe that Putin has put a stain on American democracy that will never be removed.
