With Halloween approaching, you’ll be sure to see ghostly decorations appearing throughout your neighborhood. Many people go to the store to buy their spooky ornaments. But with a little creativity and some useless old dolls, you can turn the preppy barbie into a horrifying zombie.
But you’ll need some materials if you plan to succeed in reanimating dead dolls to terrify your neighbors. And unlike a typical resurection, all of this can be found at a craft store: acrylic paint in red, black, white and gray. Scraps of fabric. Styrofoam disks. And if you can’t seem to find that old doll collection youswore never to dig up from the grave, then you can buy some inexpensive dolls at dollar stores.
Begin your dissection by removing the right arm from one of the dolls and the left arm of the other. Remove the right leg from one doll and the left leg of the other so that you can put the dolls together like monstrous conjoined twins. Superglue the dolls together and use a sharpie to draw on stitchmarks around the spliced bits. Paint the dolls gray. And give them black circles under their eyes. And paint the lips black for a dramatic and sinister effect.
If your feeling artisticm, throw some red slash marks down on their faces, arms or legs. Paint the scrap fabric gray, and wrap it around the dolls. Finally streak the black paint through their hair after covering it in white paint. Slap those sucker on the discs and viola. You are officially, a monster masher.
