Here’s another one from the Department of People Who Should Have No Credibility With Anybody. Holly Fisher aka “Holly Hobby Lobby” was discovered cheating on her combat veteran husband. Fisher is a wanna-be internet celebrity who first attracted attention back in July, 2014.
She posted a picture of herself standing outside a Hobby Lobby wearing a pro-life t-shirt and holding a Chik-Fil-A cup, with the caption, “How to make a liberal’s head explode.” Some of Fisher’s followers on Twitter suggested a picture with a flag, gun and/or Bible. Fisher obligingly posted a picture of herself with all three items. Some people, likely liberals, noted the similarities between Fisher’s picture and that of the “White Widow,” a jihadist suicide bomber who killed herself and four other people in 2004.
Then Charles C. Johnson from Gotnews.com broke the news that Fisher had been cheating on her husband. He claimed that several people in the Tea Party told him that Fisher had an affair with Joel Frewa, formerly a video editor for the Tea Party News Network. Johnson claimed that Frewa quit his job after news of the affair leaked out.
Fisher for her part said that the “rumors” were being spread by “vengeful people” who wanted to stop her from “being a voice for my beliefs.” Frewa also denied the rumors. On Facebook, though, Fisher admitted to the affair and wrote a self-pitying, self-justifying screed in which she talks about having “lost herself” and her faith in God.
On Twitter, she admitted to having lied to Johnson — but chastised him for exposing her affair and hypocrisy in the first place. Far from apologizing to him, she asserted she had the right to “tell her own story.” She says she will continue to “fight for the Constitution and the unborn” and “to share her imperfect journey as a Christian.” Her followers seem to have her back, despite her betrayal of her husband the combat veteran.
