Sarah Palin became a well-known figure, for some a celebrity, back in 2008 as a Vice-Presidential Candidate running on the Republican Party mandate together with John McCain. She’s also become known as “pit bull mom” and expressed her affection for guns and hunting.
Not long ago, she endorsed Donald Trump, current Republican candidate for the President in the 2106 elections.
Yet, another news broke up right after Trump’s endorsement. Pit bull mom’s son, 26-year-old Track, was arrested on multiple counts of assault as well as possession of a weapon under influence. He also was charged with interfering when the police arrived.
It’s reported Track held a rifle to the head of his 22-year-old female companion and attempted to prevent her from calling the police. The incident is reported to have occurred after alcohol consumption. Currently, young Palin is locked up until arraignment.
Trump’s opponents hope this incident involving Sarah Palin’s son will backfire on Donald Trump himself. But, was even any candidate or politician held accountable for actions of the children of their supporters?
In response to the arrest, Palin blamed Obama for not doing enough for veterans returning from wars. Her son spent a year in Iraq as a soldier in the US Army. Some returnees appear to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
