Last year, a 96 year old woman from Toronto put her house on the market after living there for more than 70 years. Buyers may have though that first that the house was quint and normal from the outside, so it was a real surprise to see what was on the inside of the building. Inside the houes is essentially a 1950s time capsule, filled with antique home decor.
The home is largely decorated in pastel colors and tones and full of retro furniture, including grand old pink armchairs and cupboards and appliances all colorful, clean and well kept.
The wallpapers re different from room to room, the tiles and lenolim are all different, and the color scheme of ever corner of the house (while all pastel) vary and are consciously different from the rest of the house.
This woman obviously has teken very good care of her home, and she put in a lot of time and effort to make it as beautiful as possible. It is amazing that she decided to out such an amazing collection of furniture on sale with the home, especially when most of it looks to be expensive and old.
