The previous owners of a dog kept him chained to the side of their house. They put tape around his mouth so that he wouldn’t bark. This also meant that the dog couldn’t eat or drink.
The dog had to sleep on the cold concrete with no warmth or shelter. When the tape wasn’t on his mouth, he would bark for attention, but no one would come to his rescue.
Neighbors tried to get someone to help, but no one from the city would come. Finally, the neighbors decided to do something on their own since the police department and animal rescue groups wouldn’t get involved. A few people waited until the owners were gone before jumping over the fence to get the dog.
He was given a name, and he was fed and given water. The neighbors made sure he received the attention that he deserved. Soon, he found an owner who cared for him like he has never been cared for in his life. He had a warm place to stay and someone to play with him.
The dog now has a free place to roam and is more beautiful than ever because of the efforts of concerned neighbors.
