Maurice Johnson recently had an unexpected life-changing experience when he stopped to help a woman who was stuck on the side of the road with car trouble. He could tell that the woman was very frustrated and felt totally helpless. And upon inspection he discovered that the woman’s car had a faulty alternator but Maurice managed to jump-start the car.
The woman stated that she was getting ready to run errands, but Maurice advised her to go home instead. So the good samaritan followed the woman all the way home in order to make sure that she arrived there safely. The woman offered to pay Maurice, but, of course, he did not accept money from her. His deed was good for the sake of goodness.
The woman told Maurice that her name was Fanny, which happened to be the same name as Maurice’s grandmother who had had passed some time ago. Maurice believed that he met the woman for a reason, he believes that it was a reminder from his grandmother to always be a gentleman.
Maurice learned a lesson that he will never forget, and he is passing it along to other people. He wrote about this experience on his Facebook page, stating that even though this world is very busy and hectic, you have to take the time out to be a blessing to someone else. That’s how goodness manifests.
