Wild animals are often wary of humans. However, their offspring often has no hesitation walking up to little humans. There have been numerous cases of sea lions, eagles and wolves interacting with children.
A little girl named Maya had an interesting experience interacting with a deer. Her father, Brad, was able to catch the interaction on camera.The fawn walked on wobbly legs and seemed to be a little uncertain about approaching Maya. However, he eventually walks up to Maya and allows her to pet him.
The fawn ended up getting attached to Maya and following her around. He even followed her in the woods. The fawn’s mother was not around. The fawn is a newborn, and Brad believes that the mother is still recovering from the birth.
Maya and the fawn were able to develop a friendship within just a few minutes of meeting each other. The reason that she took the fawn into the woods was because she knew that he needed his mother. Brad posted the video of Maya interacting with the fawn on YouTube.
It has been viewed over 3.3 million times ever since it was first posted on YouTube. Brad entitled the video “The Deer Whisperer.”
