Kids On The Playground Start Acting Strange, Make You Keep Your Eyes On The Teacher In Purple

After those at the school handed her a card and flowers, teacher Margaret Gabica headed outside to oversee recess for the last time. She’d been a well-loved teacher at the UK primary school St Julian’s for a quarter of a century, and this was her last day there.

But a surprise awaited her when she stepped outside. The school had planned a special performance just for her, and when the kids and teachers saw her they started running to take their places.

Then begins a flash mob in honor of their beloved teacher, as the school’s loudspeakers are used to play the song “He Lives In You” from Disney’s “The Lion King”, which is one of Mrs. Gabica’s favorite musicals. The 350 students, whose ages ranged from three to seven, had spent several weeks secretly practicing for their teacher’s benefit.

The other teachers led the kids in a choreographed dance, stunning Mrs. Gabica and giving her an epic goodbye which she’s never going to forget. They ended by giving her a big group hug.

Watch the video below to see their incredible flash mob, and to enjoy the touching emotions on teacher Gabica’s face as she realizes that their dance is for her honor
