A man was reportedly kicked out of a plane for harassing President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka in New York. This man apparently told Ivanka that her father was destroying the USA. Initial reports said that this man’s screaming became so loud that the flight crew had to escort him out of the plane.
In addition to criticizing Ivanka’s father, this man apparently also kept asking why Ivanka was flying with her three children on an economy flight. He said that Ivanka should be on her own private jet.
Ivanka tried to ignore this man by helping her children color pictures with crayons and colored pencils. Ivanka was also flying with her husband Jared Kushner.
This incident all took place on a JetBlue plane at JFK International Airport. After this incident became national news, JetBlue released a statement regarding their decision to remove the passenger.
The JetBlue staff said that their decision to kick the belligerent man off of the plan was a difficult one to make, but they felt he was creating an environment that was unsafe. The JetBlue staff said it has since worked to “re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”

Matthew Lasner is the husband of the man who yelled at Ivanka Trump. Lasner was tweeting the whole incident as it happened in real-time.
The first tweet from Lasner on this incident said “Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil.” Apparently Lasner’s husband began to walk over to Ivanka at this time and make his critical remarks.
However, Lasner says his husband didn’t raise his voice when criticizing Donald Trump. Lasner then tweeted that “Ivanka and Jared on our flight. My husband expressed displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane.”
Even after these revelations, JetBlue is standing by its decision to kick the anti-Trump man off of the plane. JetBlue’s staff says it feared the situation would have escalated if someone didn’t take immediate action.
Many critics of this story wonder why Ivanka and Jared were flying coach. Given her high profile, it seems strange Ivanka would have to travel on a commercial airline at all.
