Ivanka Trump’s Clothing Line Manufactured in Chinese Factory Where Workers Earn $1 an Hour

In a recent Washington Post report, the newspaper reported that Ivanka Trump’s clothing line comes from a manufacturing plant in China. According to reports, female employees of the plant work 60 or more hours per week earning an average wage of $64 per week. This is the latest example of the Trump’s and their relentless pursuit of riches through lies and deceit.

Ivanka Trump, the self-proclaimed first-advocate for American women and her family, continue to proclaim their loyalty to the American worker. However, many people in the know understand the Trump family and Ivanka will do anything they can to enrich themselves, even if it means eliminating American jobs and shipping them overseas.

The G-III Apparel Group, the contractor employing the workers at the Chinese manufacturing plant, holds the exclusive rights to make the first daughter’s brand of blouses, dresses and other garments. 80 employees knit the clothing for G-III, and most of them work more than the permissible limit in overtime hours.

A 2016 inspection of the factory found over a dozen violations of the standards set forth by the United Nations International Labor Organization. Other top names that the Chinese facility produces clothing for include Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
