Start by cutting out a piece of fabric that is 15 inches wide and 10 inches long. Then, turn it upside down, so that the side without the pattern is facing you. On the left and right, fold in the fabric by a half an inch, and place the zipper right side up in the middle. Using a sewing machine, sew the folded sides to the zipper. Then, unzip the zipper, and turn it inside out.
Zip it back up, and fold both sides in completely (this is to make the shape of the finished bag more box-like). Then, using the sewing machine once again, stitch the sides together. When you are done, you can turn the bag inside out once again, so that the right side is out, and you will see a professional looking makeup bag.
