I Thought Ice Cream Couldn’t Get Better. Then They Started Using THIS As A Cone. DECANDANCE!

Ice cream is great. Donuts are great. What happens when you combine the two? Unadulterated dessert heaven. Waffle cones dipped in chocolate are considered the ultimate holder for your favorite ice cream, but now mankind has graduated to something infinitely sweeter. The donut cone combines fried sugar-covered dough powdered with cinnamon, topped with chocolate and filled with scoops of delicious, thick ice cream. This is every state fair attendee’s dream.

The genius invention was created by a Prague café called Good Food Coffee and Bakery. It’s a modern spin on the traditional Slovak pastry known as Trdelnik – a drool-worthy concoction of grilled dough bathed in sugar and sprinkled with walnuts. The sugary delights made by the bakery have now begun to appear all over social media, reigniting our love for the “food porn” hashtag and looking up how much a roundtrip flight to Prague costs.

Unfortunately, the majority of us aren’t able to hop on a plane and fly off to sugary reprieve, but we can hold out hope that with such a massive online presence, the demand will inspire bakeries stateside to begin whipping up some donut cones for us.

Goodbye cronut, hello…done? Conut? We have time to settle on a name. Meanwhile, allow us to give you full permission to run out and buy yourself some donuts, a tub of ice cream and combine bites with spoonfuls to simulate the pleasure we can only imagine our fellow humans in Prague are experiencing right this second.
