Hillary Clinton Trolls the Hell Out of Trump After His Court Defeat

Although Donald Trump may be used to getting his way, the 45th President of the United States was dealt a major blow when the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected his Executive Order to place a travel ban on seven predominantly Muslim countries located in the Middle East.

Shortly after the decision had been handed down, former presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton took to Twitter in order to express her approval of the court’s decision. The tweet simply read, “3-0,” which has been re-tweeted well over 132,000 times and counting.

Following the shocking results of the 2016 Presidential Election, Mrs. Clinton, who won the popular vote by nearly 3 million, shied away from the public forum since her electoral loss to Trump. Yet over the last few days, she’s been letting her voice be heard concerning the new administration and subtly attempting to let the country know that she’s still paying very close attention.

When Senator Elizabeth Warren stood on the Senate floor and proceeded to read a letter written by Coretta Scott King in 1986 regarding Attorney General nominee Jeff Sessions and his history of being a racist, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell interrupted her by saying, “The senator has impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama, as warned by the chair.” The chair, Sen. Steve Daines of Montana, requested that Ms. Warren step down from the podium and take her seat.

Following the incident on the Senate Floor, Hillary posted another tweet: “She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted. So must we all.” Mrs. Clinton also tagged a clip from YouTube that shows Senator Warren reading Coretta Scott King’s entire letter from outside the doors of the Senate.

While these highly contested political scuffles continue to unfold, Trump has decided to take his appellate case to the Supreme Court, which perhaps poses another problem for the president. With only eight justices presiding, the appeal could very well end up in a tie; if that happens to be the case, then the 9th Circuit Court’s decision will stand and the immigrant ban will be permanently lifted.
