He Wraps Apples In Dough And Arranges It Into A Spiral. Once It’s Done Baking? UNBELIEVABLE!

The fall season is upon us yet again. As the weather cools, many will be turning down the AC and cranking up the oven to create dishes that warm the soul. A favorite for this time of year is apple pie. Inspired by Charm has come up with a Spiral Apple Bread that recreates this classic recipe into something creative, appealing, and oh so delicious.

Like other apple pie recipes, you will need a dough and sliced apples. The dough is simple and comes together with a stand mixer. Once the dough is made, it sets for several hours where it has a chance to rise. The dough is then rolled and cut into thin strips. The slices of apples, and thin strips of dough, are spiraled around an 8 inch round pan. The spiraled dessert resembles a rose when completed. After all of the dough and apples are lined in the pan, it’s baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20 minutes.

Once the dessert comes out of the oven, it is brushed with melted butter and a cinnamon sugar mixture. This gives it the ultimate apple pie flavor that we have all come to love. It doesn’t stop there, though. A glaze is made using brown sugar, apple cider, and powdered sugar. The glaze is drizzled over the top of the bread.

This dessert not only looks stunning, but it’s flavors will put you right in with the holiday seasons. Having this at your next family gathering is sure to be a showstopper. No one has to know how easy it really was!
