One of the people who commented stated that the man should see a physician as soon as possible because a positive pregnancy test could be an indication of testicular cancer.
Pregnancy tests detect pregnancy by detecting HCG in a person’s urine. Men who have testicular cancer also produce HCG. When the man found out that a positive pregnancy test could indicate testicular cancer, he visited his physician. The doctor found a small tumor in the man’s testicle.
It is important to note that a pregnancy test is not the best way to detect testicular cancer. However, the man is grateful to the people on social media who informed him that he should see his doctor. That pregnancy test may have saved his life.
