He Hands This Boy $1 After He Has A Meltdown. What He Does Next? His Mom Can’t Hold Back The Tears

There are times when children have meltdowns while they are in stores with their parents. Sandra Borchers had her 4-year-old little boy with her while she was doing some shopping at Home Depot.

She was trying to choose new colors for the home, but her son started hitting himself in the head. He also started to scream. The little boy has ADHD and is autistic. He also as a disorder that affects the senses in the body.

When the boy started screaming and hitting, Sandra thought that she would be asked to leave the store. A worker was nearby, but instead of telling her to leave, the worker gave the boy $1. The worker didn’t say anything negative about the actions of the boy.

He seemed to understand why he was acting the way that he was in the store. The worker gave the boy the money to get ice cream at a local fast food restaurant. When the worker left the mother and the child, the mother started to cry because the situation could have been handled differently.

The mother wrote a note to the worker at Home Depot, thanking him for the $1 that was used to get the little boy an ice cream cone that he enjoyed to the last lick.
