People tend to post many of their thoughts on Facebook about politics and other controversial subjects. At times, the posts that are seen can have consequences. A woman in Alabama made a few comments about President Obama on her Facebook page, some calling her racist for her opinions. Now, she’s looking for a new job because she simply voiced her thoughts.
June Pridmore works at a bank in Alabama She lost her job once her employer found out about her racist remark. A Facebook page also gave her the label of “racist of the week.” She stated that she was glad that Trump has a lot of money because he isn’t a man who can be bought like President Obama.
June also made comments about President Obama and his wife hosting so many people in order to get the support of the people in the United States. She also complained about President Obama and his wife taking so many trips on the expense of the American people and even sending the family dog on a separate plane.
Her comments were seen as racist because President Obama is African-American and Trump is white, making it seem like Trump has more money simply because of his race.
