Rick Perry was recently at Dartmouth, making an important public speech. Being Rick Perry, he probably thought that everyone had forgotten about all his comments he had made. Many of the comments he has made over the years, have been anti-gay and very anti-women. Rick Perry assumed these college kids were just going to let it go. Wrong answer Rick.
Rick was speaking to about 100 students. He was speaking on everything from energy to foreign policy. Once he was done, he allowed the students to take the floor and pose questions to him. This is where he got more then a little burned.
A sophomore, named Ben Pecker, compiled a list of questions and gave them to different students. Many of them were disgusting in nature. They were posed this way to mock and poke fun at him.
One of the questions posed was in reference to Perry making an analogy between gay sex and alcoholism. Another one was in references to his campaign trail. Perry’s camp has raised over $102 million. The question read, “Would you have anal sex for $102 million dollars?”
Now the questions might have been vulgar, but Perry gets what he deserves.
The college president, who is a Republican, asked the students to be a bit more dignified. She said he didn’t deserve this treatment. The college president told the students he deserves respect. This statement just explained one of the biggest ironies of all time.
