One man got upset about working on Christmas Eve but when he saw something in a body of water he changed his mind.
Harold Hogueremembers many things in his life very fondly, but one Christmas Eve when he had to work he was rewarded for his efforts, even though there were a few complaints at first.
While he was in his office, he heard quite a bit of noise coming from the Nashville street below his window. So he decided to see what the commotion was when he noticed that others were talking about something that that had fallen over the bridge. Hogue saw a woman who was floundering far below in the icy water under the bridge. The woman was holding onto something, and she was calling for someone to help her baby.
There were other people talking about a baby as well. Hogue was finally able to spot a blue bundle in the water and he and another man were able to grab the bundle and give the child back to the mother.He became a hero on that day, and will never forget the Christmas Eve when he got to save a person’s life.
