British Parliament To Consider Ban Of Donald Trump From The UK – Will They Approve The Motion?

Donald Trump has been a well-known and controversial figure for years. Now, this real estate developer is running a Presidential campaign, hoping to win GOP nomination. Trump’s comments, referring to some Mexican immigrants as rapists as well as his suggestion about the possibility of tracking Muslims in the United States, have brought lots of criticism.

One Trump’s foe, Suzanne Kelly of Aberdeen (Scotland, has submitted a petition to the British government asking to ban this real estate tycoon from entering the United Kingdom on the grounds that he resorts to hate speech. Kelly had opposed Trump previously when it came to building a golf course in the area. Under the British system, if the petition gets 10,000 signatures, the UK government will have to respond.

With 100,000 people supporting it, a Parliamentary debate will be considered. Kelly took her anti-Trump campaign further by asking Robert Gordon University to strip Trump of a honorary degree granted. Now, the question remains: Will the petition attract enough votes and the British government consider banning the potential next President of the United States?

Anything is possible. In the past, the politically-correct UK government has banned a Dutch lawmaker who called Koran a fascist book.
