I want to talk about our shadow president – not the flamboyant clown demanding attention and putting on a big show… but the man behind the curtain. The man who’s sinister aptitude has elevated him to one of the most powerful positions in the free world. The puppeteer of the Trump Administration: Stephen J. Bannon.
Perhaps you’ve noticed, but while Donald Trump keeps the media busy with his petty behavior, pathological lying and general madness, Steve Bannon has been taking cover behind that performance, hiding behind it to draft up his own maniacal executive orders (like the travel ban on Muslims).
His elevation to the National Security Council (a position exclusively reserved for generals until now) was secured under Donald Trump’s nose. Bannon drafted the order, slipped it onto dumb Donny’s desk and the man signed it without ever looking it over, without ever reading it. And just like that Steve Bannon was elevated to a position where he could run the show, to achieve his dark vision of the world.
But what is Steve Bannon’s vision?
To understand that, we have to understand the man himself: Bannon was in the Navy at one time, not a soldier but an administrative officer. After that he went to Harvard, graduated and went to work at Goldman Sachs. Bannon made a significant amount of money from an investment in the Show Seinfeld, which he then used to pursue his own devious and Nationalistic ends. He got into film and made a political documentary about Ronald Reagan, and was subsequently introduced to Andrew Breitbart – the creator of Breitbart News. Thus began Bannon’s relationship with the alt-right white nationalist media company.
Bannon took over Breitbart News after the death of Andrew Breitbart, and tried to establish a branch of Breitbart News in India. His goal? To spread and support nationalist movements worldwide… The man has been seeking to tip society into an era of closed doors and armed borders since the mid-90’s. And if that isn’t frightening enough, here’s him in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter:
“Darkness is good. Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power. It only helps us when [liberals] get it wrong. When they’re blind to who we are and what we’re doing.”
And it gets even more troubling. Because not only does he aspire to be like Darth Vader, Satan and Dick Cheney, but Steve Bannon has made statements suggesting he believes Islam is a global threat – not radical Islam, not ISIS, not Al-Qaeda – just Islam. Bannon is a modern Christian crusader who wants to start a modern holy war. And now he’s positioned better than anyone to do exactly that.
In 2014, while speaking at the Vatican, Bannon disclosed his fears that Islam threatens everything in the Judeo-Christian West:
“And we’re at the end stages of a very brutal and bloody conflict, of which, if the people in this room, the people in the church do not bind together and really form what I feel is an aspect of the church militant, to really be able to not just stand with our beliefs, but to fight for our beliefs against this new barbarity that’s starting, that will completely eradicate everything that we’ve been bequeathed over the last 2,000, 2,500 years.”
2,000 years? What is significant of that number? Oh yes, 2000 years ago Christ was born and Christianity cemented itself into history. For the last 2000 years Christians have had the rule of the roost, and Bannon seems to fear that Islam threatens that status quo. And according to his quote, he’s ready to become militant and fight in order to stop that.
What is interesting (and terrifying both at once) is that Steve Bannon, during that same speech at the Vatican way back in 2014, correctly predicted the global Nationalist shift we’re seeing around the world today. And he also predicted that that movement, in concurrence with the rise of radical Islamic forces and America’s “crony capitalism”, would result in a violent global conflict.
If that prediction is correct, as were his others, the entire world might be facing a holy-war-torn future. And now that Steve Bannon sits on America’s National Security Council and has a US president as his personal puppet, he is in the perfect position to start that global conflict he predicted, just as he helped bring about the rise of Nationalism that he foretold…
There’s no telling how long Bannon has had this schemed out, no knowing what he truly intends to do with his freshly-attained power. But we do know that he is a Nationalistic, Islamophobic, highly intelligent, and greatly devious Christian individual with an apocalyptic vision of the world. What does any man like that do with real power?
